 This Flavin Symposium will be dedicated to the memory of Vince Massey and Kunio Yagi, who were the acknowledged founders of the field. Their research, leadership, and accomplishments in this field continued throughout their rich and active life. We would like to remember their spirit and dedication to flavin research as examples for us. Thus, we hope to continue to make progress with new research insights, and with the great vigor and enthusiasm. We are going to have memorial session for Vincent Massey and Kunio Yagi in the evening of 17th April, 2005.
