The Journal of Nippon Medical School receives its first journal impact factor!

It is a great privilege to announce that the Journal of Nippon Medical School has received its first journal impact factor. According to the recently released Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Report (JCR), the 2013 impact factor for the Journal of Nippon Medical School is 0.588. The Journal of Nippon Medical School is the first to receive a journal impact factor among all private medical schools’ journals in Japan. This accomplishment comes as a result of continuous efforts of the editors, editorial board members, dedicated reviewers and numerous valuable authors and readers who have enormously contributed to the improvement and advancement of the journal making it a world-wide known medical journal. The Journal of Nippon Medical School was established in 1923 and since then has continuously built on its success by publishing high-quality articles while maintaining a high standard. The mission of the journal is continuing and the journal strives to better serve the scientific world by providing rapid and timely publication of peer-reviewed articles in the field of clinical and experimental medical science research. We are confident that the journal will rapidly reach a highly competitive level in the near future. We invite all authors from around the world to continue submitting their valuable works to the Journal of Nippon Medical School and sharing with us their comments and suggestions.
