At Nippon Medical School, various educational resources within Sendagi campus will facilitate learning activities for students and researchers.

Education Building

Education Building Equipped with state-of-the art educational system, this newly Education building opened in 2007 in order to ensure an ideal learning environment for students. Education of Nippon Medical School puts emphasis on problem-solving abilities, and focuses especially on small-group learning. Thus, the building is formed with multiple-room environment to best accommodate the purpose of our education system.

Graduate School Building

Graduate School Building The Graduate School building also opened in 2007, and the cutting-edge medical research is conducted by 46 fields of research areas from 6 majors in the graduate school. This facility adopts an open-research system, so not only the graduate students and researchers at graduate school, but also the undergraduate students and other researchers at Nippon Medical School can freely use the medical devices and research instruments at the facility, which enables the acceleration of the collaborative process between basic research and clinical settings.

School Library

School Library The school library is located adjacent to the university hospital. It is a facility of two floors below ground and three floors above ground. It contains more than 60,000 books and 150,000 bound volumes of periodicals. It subscribes to more than 600 titles of print journals and more than 8,000 titles of electronic journals. The library is open from 7:30 to 23:00 on Monday through Saturday, and from 13:00 to 23:00 on Sunday.

International Exchange Center

Since its establishment in 1986, International Exchange Center has been promoting various student exchange activities. More than 1500 students from over 40 countries studied at Nippon Medical School since its launch, and currently as many as 50 international students each year study at Nippon Medical School. In addition, many sixth-year students from Nippon Medical School study abroad at partner universities such as The George Washington University and University of Southern California. Seminars and field trips take place occasionally at the International Exchange Center, and in many cases, this center will become the first contact for international students.
